David Roberts - Director

David has been with SCP since the company started in 1991, having worked for South Yorkshire County Council, Derbyshire County Council, Sheffield City Council and private sector consultants. He became a Director in 1999 and now benefits from over 25 years of experience in dealing with highway, traffic and transport matters, including providing expert evidence at inquiries etc.
Bill Booker - Director
BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering
Bill joined Singleton Clamp and Partners in 1992 after working for Greater Manchester County Council, and private sector consultancies. Bill became a Director of the Company in 1999 and has over 25 years of wide-ranging experience in highway, traffic and transport matters including considerable experience in preparing and giving expert evidence at inquiries etc.
Jim Budd - Technical Director
BA (Hons), MSc Transport Planning & Engineering, MCIHT MCILT
Jim joined SCP in 1999 after working for private sector consultancies and was made an Associate Director in 2000, before becoming a Technical Director in 2005. Jim has experience of project managing a variety of strategic highway feasibility studies and currently manages a high turnover of work for clients involved in commercial and food retailing, house building and football stadia. Jim has been responsible for expanding the Company's expertise in the field of traffic and pedestrian modelling.
Gordon Meikle - Associate Director
MCIHT
Gordon moved to SCP in 1997 having worked for Wirral MBC and subsequently a freelance Design Engineer for a number of consultancies. He set up a dedicated design section in order to provide an expanded range of services to clients from inception through to construction. Initially, this involved Sections 38 and 278 design work for SCP's existing clients, but under his guidance the design office has developed to generate its own clientele, especially in the north-west housing sector. Gordon was made an Associate Director of the Company in 2000.
Ian Wickett - Associate Director
MCIHT
Ian joined SCP in 2006 after working for private sector consultants and was subsequently promoted to Associate Director in 2007. Ian has 11 years of wide ranging experience of commercial, retail, leisure and residential projects in offices across the country. Ian has a diverse range of highway and transportation technical skills including GIS, traffic micro-simulation modelling and travel plan expertise.
